It looks like Amar’e Marshall is visiting this weekend as well. Do we have room for both or is it one or the other?

Both.

It appears to me that the days of having skill/experience/level of development layers within a roster are waning. Look at the LoChi model, for example. They had a 13 player roster that went 11–13 deep on the court. Most of their roster is nothing special and are slightly above average performers on most teams. But the aggregate of everyone contributing at a high level and keeping minutes per player down gave the team a more consistent level of play and more collective team energy no matter who was on the court. It wore out their opponents far more often than not.

The point is, get lots of players who can make meaningful contributions rather than playing only a core group and sitting the rest. I'd look for more coaches to follow this model in the future.

This stuff is fluid and musical chairs much like you said. If a guy visits and doesn't commit and is a hot commodity its a safe assumption we might be out of range (for the moment).

What actually sucks the most about NIL and Mason’s situation is it’s all timing etc. had there been NIL during the final 4 run. Every business in nova would have wanted to jump on the bandwagon.

I think they really just need to start winning again make a tournament and people might start coming out of the woodwork. The good news in all this is, Mason grads aren’t poor or underemployed members of society.

Mason grads tend to do very well. Asking someone in their 20’s to skip a couple nights at the bar shouldn’t be that crazy.

Win and things change, question is more what to do in meantime to get back to winning….

What is the NIL amount? Do you know the people over heading up NIL? Just curious why there is always this mentality. Mason can’t do anything? Don’t you think they paid Keyshawn in the first place or Okie?

If you do then so be it: there’s so much false info passed around though. I would hold out on knowing what some of those people can or can’t do.

Seems like a big waste of everyone’s time for him to visit if it’s already impossible. Tony doesn’t strike me as just checking the boxes.
