Huge get

Third straight class with at least one nationally ranked recruit. Pretty sure that’s never been done at Mason. Great work by the staff.

Per 247 sports, MJ is our 2nd highest rated commitment of all time. Behind, Erik Copes in 2011.

How did Erik turn out? Any good for us?

How many former unheralded Mason players have seen the NBA recently

Tyler Kolek, Josh Oduro, Jordan Miller...none were heralded.

I like the fact that he is suppose to be a Dog on defense.

Tony stated this entire roster with defense already wired into their DNA. I love that.

I can't wait to see Shane Pendergrass. He looks and feels like a poor man's Connie Hawkins.

Peyton Miller is also going to be a very good college player, even if he doesn’t get a chance to show much this season because we have so many veteran guards.

TBF, Jordan Miller was 1st Team All Met and Tyler Kolek won player of the year for Rhode Island. So unheralded might not be completely accurate.
