Definitely impressed with GW. Lonergan has his team playing well. Ran the flex offense to a T, and switched up their D to a 1-3-1, and vcu could not figure it out.

If it was not for the press created turnovers during the middle of the second half this could have been an easy 20 pt win.

Must be nice to actually have a scoring wing with handles.

vcu shot 28 threes, GW shot 32 FTs. Patricio Garino was the difference with 25 points. Very active on both ends of the court.

Clarification: They said on the broadcast that the students stormed the court, but it was actually just a dozen or so kids. Not a big deal.

My bad. You quoted Gemini's comment, so I thought you were calling Mayimba a bum. Still not sure who the bum is. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing him play for us. He won't help us offensively out of the gate (at least in our half-court sets), but he'll be tough defensively and in the open court.
