It would make sense that BE wants to let her finish out her season before any major distractions. If Paulsen was fired, the women would clearly see the writing on the wall if they don’t already.

The women’s team won 0 conference games this season. If they don’t see the writing on the wall already there is a problem.

GIVING DAY 2023
Women have lost to gw.

so now the wait on the official word on Nyla begins, and we’ll see if it’s partnered with something about Paulsen.

Not horrible numbers but a little surprising for the reigning A10 player of the year. Will be interesting to see how she does next year with a full offseason under her belt.

I read a short article that she was the back up pg until that person got injured and was more of a distributor than a shooting pg. Indiana is doing well in the BIG 10----16-2 with one of the losses by 4 pts at Maryland (only time they played them).

https://sjsuspartans.com/news/2021/...change-of-leadership-for-mens-basketball.aspx:

"SAN JOSÉ, Calif. – San José State University Athletics Director Marie Tuite announced on Friday that there will be a change in leadership in the men's basketball program.

Jean Prioleau, hired on August 4, 2017, has concluded his tenure at San José State. His four-year head coaching record with the Spartans was 20-93."

Isn’t this the team we would have played in the MWC challenge if it happened?

If he was half decent I’d say Fordham should try for him as he’s an alum, but 20-93 is really really bad.

Lincoln Memorial coach Josh Schertz is the frontrunner to replace Greg Lansing at Indiana State, sources told @stadium. Schertz has won 30-plus games in 6 of the last 7 seasons in D-2 ranks and has a 83% career winning percentage. Extremely well-regarded in coaching circles.
