Good game, but Mason bench 0-4, 0 points. Polite is terrible in most respects and what does Jones even DO? Bad defense and does he EVER shoot? I thought he was like the all-time high scorer in Australia high school or something? It doesn't even look like he ever WANTS to do anything with the ball other than get rid of it as fast as possible to somebody else. If you never shoot other teams don't have to give you any attention on defense and can do more doubling and helping on your actual scorers. Even if Jones is not a great shooter, the coaches still need to force him to take a few shots every game just to keep the defense honest I think

Mason needs one more post player. Mason really struggles when Oduro is on the bench.

And guards that can shoot FTs in the clutch.

Right? If this is our "shortened rotation", yikes. With a DNP tonight, I definitely don't see Hartwell coming back. Gray hasn't played the last two games either. No Frazier. Gadsden has barely played all year.

No you can’t coach height you’re right and it’s obvious that they like what he can contribute. It’s early but I’m hoping that he can turn into something. After early glimpses he really hasn’t contributed much but is playing out of necessity. I guess if he doesn’t get better they’ll recruit over him and it’ll work itself out.

Just wish we can find a way to get him some open looks closer to the basket. He's taken 18 shots, 14 of them have been 3s (he's 1-4 from inside the arc).
