Yes, I believe so. Gotta think it goes to a big man since we lose Shevon, Marko, and Julian. So we have one more 2016 scholarship left right?
We have 2 left, 4 seniors and Mayimba. This looks like a great pick up. His smooth playing style will match up well with Boyd's power play.So we have one more 2016 scholarship left right?

I really liked his game too. The only negative I saw was that he doesn't really elevate at all on his jumper. He's got decent size, but he may have trouble getting that shot off over bigger guards. Certainly fixable.Really like this kid's all-around game. Nice fluid motion on his shot and finishes and handles well with both hands. Good court vision as well. Impressive sophomore video.
We have 12, on scholarship, on the roster right now. Paulsen could pick someone up mid season though.Didn't Relvao or Grayer take Mayimba's spot?
Paulsen had better be a good judge of talent. If his first two recruiting classes are busts, then he will be a bust. Not a criticism, just stating the obvious. His next two classes will be much smaller so these guys will be Mason basketball for the next few years. We have 12, on scholarship, on the roster right now. Our team after this season will be the definition of a young team. 11 players will be freshman/soph.

A bad habit that never got fixed by any of his HS coaches I guess. You're right, I remember Tate having a very similar jumpshot. I think the good news is that his mechanics looks fine, so I would think that getting more elevation shouldn't be too hard.Ike Tate had a deadly set shot, but needed time and space to get it off.
I'm curious why Kier doesn't elevate on his jumper. He has enough vertical to be able to dunk at 6-3, so it's not like he just can't jump. Definitely gonna have to work on that if he's going to play in the A-10.
