I am just going to assume we will lose every game the rest of the way. The team will surprise me occasionally. Building toward the future. Next year will be tough as well. Another question is why not a doubleheader, since the women play Air Force at the RAC (1:00 p.m. tip-off) on the same day?

I found out why the 8pm tip (and no doubleheader with the women):

There is winter graduation at EagleBank Arena that afternoon. The arena staff needs enough time to switch over from graduation to basketball. Thus, the 8pm tip for the men and reason the women are at the RAC during the day.
