Yeah, Im sure Lamar and Tony both know him well from recruiting the area. Looks like he had a Seton Hall offer in 2018 amongst various others. Had a mason offer in 2016 of course.

But like it was mentioned I’m sure he will look to try to get back to d1.

Perhaps this game was a way to get him on campus…?

He had signed with Virginia Tech, was released when Buzz Williams left and then signed with UNC. He could have gone just about anywhere he wanted. Will be interesting to see how we defend him on Monday night.

I've gotten a ups email saying I will have a delivery by 7pm Saturday and will have to sign for it. Unofficially I am. no longer worried.

Ta-Da!! Tickets arrived today (15 min before the early end of their delivery window) with the envelope wrapped thoroughly in the UPS plastic that is almost impenetrable! Could submerge it in a swimming pool and it would be no worse for the wear!

I won't turn down any opportunity to see the team. New seats this year, I'm ready to get loud. Win or lose, I promise not to declare us worthless or National Champs. That comes after the Monmouth game on 11/6.

Welcome - Yeah I didn't think they would either but it must be part of the entire contract. I'd be shocked if we got 2000 for the game, and maybe like a few hundred streamers.

I called the Patriot Club 10-15 times in the last 7-10 days to enable my tickets. They FINALLY returned my calls an hour ago. They are understaffed. That's my take.

There is some more intrigue with this game - in addition to local Paul VI/UNC transfer Anthony Harris, they have a transfer from ETSU - 6'8 Josh Taylor. He started 16 games for them (only played 19 so looks like he didnt play full season), averaged 25 mins, 55% fg, 38% 3pt, 5 rbs and 7 pts a game for them while playing with Jalen Haynes last season.

Don't know if he has any eligibility left as he is listed as a senior, but another guy that maybe it doesn't hurt to get on campus.

Surprised that Kelly is the projected starter over Henry, must have impressed in the early practices. Will be interested to watch the breakdown in minutes for each of our bigs tonight in particular.
