GIVING DAY 2023
I would guess that GMU schedules 3 games between 11/3 and 11/11
this gives 3 days rest between games
and at this point in the scheduling season, they are likely to be KenPom 200 and higher

11/3 - rest - rest - rest -11/7- rest - rest - rest - 11/11 - rest - rest - rest - 11/15
11/7 home vs Winthrop

still looking to fill the 11/3 and 11/11
most Ivies are open on 11/3 plus Delaware State

GIVING DAY 2023
So what's the third annual Mason Mile and what does it have to do with an open practice???
I think the Mason Mile is an event started a few years ago where the team does a meet and greet with students and they do a walk (I think at Midnight?) around the track of the soccer field.

I suspect the event is the same day as the open practice.

It is listed as the same day and it appears as though that BOTH the Mason Mile and Open Practice are at 10 am at EBA. Maybe they just walk over to EBA through the campus with students/fans cheering them on (kinda like colleges do for home football games)?

Limited Schedule with some start times now posted on GoMason.com

Open Practice and Mason Madness dates and times set

The games that have been posted so far aren’t that bad. Three in-state rivals, two solid mid-majors in either Loyola Marymount or FAU and a decent MAC squad in Ohio. Hopefully the remainder of the schedule isn’t horrible lol.

I suspect the time is wrong. If I recall the mason mile is usually at midnight.

OOC schedule is complete - minus 3 games, just not posted on GoMason but posted elsewhere
The away schedule is much better than the home schedule

the home schedule includes
New Hampshire / 348EagleBank
Loyola-MD / 300EagleBank
Jacksonville / 238EagleBank
Penn / 276EagleBank

none of these games are likely to be sell outs

unsure of what ticket pricing will be like, but there is only 1 team on the list that i would pay $15 to see, and that is only because I am an alum

Considering how late in the scheduling season we are - we may also see a Non-D1 game added

$15 doesn’t seem like that much to me…it’s the price of a movie ticket at this point. Now, package these games and make a pricing plan like buy one at 15, 2 at 25, 3 at 30 or 4 at 36 (that is 15, 12.50, 10, and 9 per game) and you might have a promotion that could put more butts inti more games and maybe hook some people.

JMU and ODU are home games, there will be plenty of butts in seats for both of those.

Also saw today that UCF is still looking for 5 games … not sure if they can make the dates work, but since we haven’t released the schedule hopefully that means Tony is working to fill it out with something other than tomato cans.
