I want Mason vs vcu on a Friday night.

Even though we lost the A10 Championship game to them, that was a high level, competitive game that came down to the last possession.

Most of the Friday games are held at Siegel, Dayton, and Chaifetz so if we have vcu, Dayton, and/or SLU on the road those are probably the most likely games to be featured.

I can’t remember what our pairings are this year but I do know we had Dayton and SLU away last season. vcu is a home and home this year right?

The likelihood ESPN picks to go to EBA is pretty low but maybe.

I agree with this whole heartedly. No reason to not showcase a rematch of last years finals.

I feel like picking Mason based on merit they still would qualify for a home game. But I honestly have no idea. I think Fordham and even St Joes have gotten home games, so if they can, Mason should be a candidate too.

I hope we don't have a nationally broadcast game, especially against vcu, at home because it will look and sound like a road game. Before the hate starts, all of you know it's true. Our fan base, especially the students, are lame as hell. Over 40 years at Pat Dome/EBA we have averaged just a tad over 4,000 per game in a 10,000 seat arena. Sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow. And I'm a homer!!!!!

Valid point. But you are assuming the Mason fans are allowed to cheer, or actually do so when allowed.

Just because you have seats in the quiet section doesn't mean we all do. 118 makes a lot of noise ... we're just in the corner so it's hard to hear ... or is that just your age? ;-)

I remember when Doug Gotlieb announced one of our games on ESPN2 he told one of the Patriot Platoon members the letters on their sign wouldn’t show up on tv and it needed to be thicker/bigger with a sharpie.

On paper, this roster has the potential to be better than last year's. They can all break down a defender and make a play. Something this team's needed on droves against the better teams on the last year's schedule.

If they win consistently,fan attendance will surge.

Iirc, I believe it's on USA. I would hope that world also bring the hype, but we'll see.

The enthusiasm and energy of our fan base at the A10 tournament was awesome. Haven't felt the crowd like that in a long time. I know it's apples/oranges but really hope some of that carries over to this season.

September 2 and our official schedule page still only reflects 6 games. GMU, along with Davidson, are the only A10 schools not to publish the dates of their OOC schedules. Sucks to be tied for last. Growing impatient........

Perhaps GMU will play Davidson in the OOC.
