Brad Edwards resigns

All - Per our rules #1 and #3 here: https://www.masonhoops.com/help/terms/ , let's stay away from any personal rumors or attacks, please.

I get what you are saying by adhering to rules of the boards, but I think anything this "abrupt" can be fair game to rumors, and such. I was being as respectful as I could in my posts, but also providing my own personal assessment of his performance during his time as GMU's Athletic Director.

Assessing performance is different from “there were secret scandals that never got out.”

The volleyball thing is fair game as it is known.

I'm not coming down on anyone as of yet - just setting expectations.

This is a great moment for George Mason. Let it be known.

There are several bbb scandals past and current that never saw the light of day outside of the university. Maybe they will now be released. He flew the coop along with many in his cabinet. Contract not renewed and walls closed in. NFL took him in. Fitting landing place and end end to the bbb saga.

Somebody has an axe to grind.

You are what your numbers say you are. Since 2014 we are:

Men's Baseball 188 - 255- 1
Men's Soccer 41 - 74 - 18
Men's Basketball 119 - 129
Total 348 - 458 - 19

Not much to write home about in my book. Thanks Brad, you did one thing, you listened when I wrote you asking you to move on from DP. Other than that.....meh.
I would like to see Women's Volleyball, Women's Basketball and Women's Lax added to that statistical analysis.

I think the only "successful" programs have been Mens and Women's swimming. Other than that, maybe our Women's Cross Country and Men's Volleyball.

The AD will boast Team GPAs in the A10. That is a significant accomplishment, but does not reflect winning on the field or court.

Women are as follows:

Volleyball 56 - 156
Basketball 102 - 136
Lacrosse 70 - 73. Which would qualify as our most successful program until you factor in the 8 - 31 record for the past three seasons.
Women total : 348 - 458 - 19
