The 11 win women's team is at La Salle today for the final road game of the season, and then finish on home Sunday against Rhode Island. Good seasons for the women's and men's teams.

*11-5, 6-2 in A10
*Vying for top 4 seed (and hosting 1st round game in A10 tournament)
*Have won 5 of last 6 by shutout
*Emma van der Vorst is the leading goal scoring freshman in the Country, 12th overall and 1st in Conference (likely Freshman all american and potential conference POY)
*3 losses have come to top 25 teams, including current #4 Georgetown by 1 goal

They appear to have a legit shot to win the A10 tournament, with the conference tournament starting next weekend on the 27th/28th. Give them some love!

FAIRFAX, Va. – Putting together one of the most impressive hardware hauls in school history, freshman forward Emma van der Vorst has been named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, First Team Forward and selected to the All-Rookie Team, the league announced on Thursday.

A native of Amsterdam, van der Vorst is the first Mason women's soccer player to earn A-10 Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors. She is just the third player in program history to be selected Player of the Year and only the fourth player in program history named Rookie of the Year.

Also, Emily Littell made 2nd team A-10 midfielder team and Shannon Lee made 2nd team A-10 defense team.

They wouldn't have lost if Jenny Ohlson was playing.

Bracket to be announced at 4:30pm on Ncaa.com

64 team bracket, 31 at large spots to be given. At 14-6 we have an RPI of 31.

OOC losses were to RPI 4,8, and 30. Conference losses were to RPI 59, 61 and 64.

Have wins at #66, vs #71 and #91, so should definitely stand a shot.

Nope... just saw the bracket. Disappointing

Dont know though if we were like the last team out or just out

Not sure, but it was pretty well known inside the program that they had to beat the Billies to have a shot at an "At-Large".
