Where Are They Now?

Clearly, he didn't get the award based on his record at Mason. If I'm not mistaken, Mason never won a game in the end-of-season CAA tournaments while he was coach.

But winning an NBA title (and I think a WNBA title with Phoenix) plus his Loyola-Marymount Cinderella story justifiably overrode his time in Fairfax.

Rather impressive list of previous Chuck Daly winners:
I just remember Westhead at Mason trying so hard to impress everyone with his NBA title and Loyola Marymount "Exploits". I kept waiting for "the system" to work. But had a .352 winning percentage at Mason and a horrid .279 winning percentage IN THE CAA. (What the f*ck?....what the ever live'n f*ck!.) He did have a nice local T.V. commercial though. lol

"U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca (Liga Nationala) signed 29-year old American point guard Otis Livingston II (180cm-79kg-1996, college: GMU) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He was the second-best scorer at Basquet Girona in the Spanish Liga Endesa. In 34 games, he had 13.0ppg, 2.4rpg, and 5.1apg. During the previous (2024-25) season, he played at Galatasaray (BSL) in the Turkish league. He also played 18 games in the Turkish BSL, where he recorded very impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 2.1rpg, and 4.4apg that year. Livingston helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals.

He is a quite experienced player. Livingston has played professionally in Denmark (Horsens IC), Germany (Bayreuth, Hakro Merlins, and s Oliver Baskets), Serbia (KK Mladost MaxBet Zemun), Turkey, and North Macedonia (KK Kumanovo 2009)."

"He was voted Eurobasket.com All-German Bundesliga Player of the Year and selected to Eurobasket.com German Bundesliga All-Imports Team in 2024.

Livingston graduated from George Mason University in 2019 and is entering his eighth season as a professional player."

Livingston is the last men's basketball player to be on scholarship his whole career and exhaust his entire eligibility at George Mason.
