Mason has about 10k more students than vcu, so it would not need a 1400 dollar fee to generate similar money. Something like a 500 dollar per semester fee or 1000 per year across about 40k students gets you close to 40 million annually, which is basically what vcu is bringing in.

And that is still a lot less than what vcu students are paying. This is not really a resource issue, it is just a choice Mason has not made.

Gonna try to find a level where he can put up numbers so he can transfer back up and get paid. Wish he was staying, but the staff is definitely gonna bring in a veteran at his position and I can’t blame him for doing what he thinks is best for himself.

Yep, this is just how it goes now in college hoops. You sit frosh year, then maybe you jump for a year or two and grow. Then you jump back up. Much like Devin Dinkins has done. Left mason, did well in the Maac. Now looking probably for a nice payday.
