Not sure what all can be shared, but our investment in hoops is up more than 50% since Tony arrived. Still not enough to match the top of the conference, but also not fair to say we're not increasing our spend.

We need a giving day progress bar with the players heads at certain milestones for how much we need to raise to keep them.

They need to invest in a new donation software /payment platform where it's one or two clicks for people to make a donation/pay. Hate having to fill out my information every time... too long.

Make it as easy as possible for donors to donate. Platform with 1 or 2 clicks like Venmo

How are they promoting this via the Athletic Department.... should be all hands on deck and multiple messages via email, LI, social media, etc.

One thing I saw some of the other sports doing on IG was a flyer with a QR code. I didn't see anything like this to share for basketball. Only thing I saw was the video from Tony, which could have used another take honestly. He came across a little gassed. A simple flyer for people to share would have more legs imo. I could have missed it, but I looked around on a coffee break today and didn't see anything easily sharable.

Not necessarily. VT broke their annual Giving Day records this year. Of course they have a much bigger donor base to draw from but people can still donate small amounts, it's all in how you ask/messaging.
