Unfortunately, the NCAA doesn’t work by logical decisions

I know I’m on an island here, but I actually think the right decision is to let these young adults test the waters.

Let them go to Summer League, which, in my opinion, is still essentially amateur basketball. As long as they don’t sign an official NBA contract, let them come back to school, earn money through NIL, and represent a university.

Especially until the 5-for-5 rule takes effect, I don’t see the harm in giving players that flexibility.

And let’s not forget, Mason just brought in James Nnaji.

Let me get this straight. Hall can play in the big East, but he can't play in the S. E! C big ten, and now most recently, the ACC as all three conferences have aligned to say, you can't come here if you've declared for the league and or signed a contract that pays more than per diem.
Did Hall sign such contract? Pretty sure he declared for the draft every year he's been in college. LoL

James Nnaji shouldn’t have been eligible to even play for Baylor let alone us. Also, he didn’t play 4 years of collegiate basketball already, like Keyshawn Hall has.

Also not a huge fan of courts just coming in and obliterating any rules the NCAA either makes or amends (and this is going to be even worse now that these guys are getting paid better than NBA rookies in some cases, certainly more than G League and most International professionals).
