Implying that he has less of a chance to play in Europe going to Memphis is just sour grapes. Can't argue with his decision - if he doesnt get significant playing time over the next year or two - he can transfer again to somewhere he will.
Did not say nor imply that. Equal chance to play in Europe coming out of either, or any, school. Europe is about your own skill and willingness to play anywhere.

They have interesting roster rules. I’m not sure if being Canadian would help or hurt him.

But Canada has their own league and I’m sure if he wants to keep playing and couldn’t get a G-League or good European contract he can go back home and play in Canada.

Baraka averaging the same number of
points and rebounds for Memphis: 1.4

He would’ve been a star here if he stayed. But now languishing at Memphis. Hope he had a good NIL Deal.

Even of he did, not playing will take its toll on his spirit eventually.

As well as future NIL considerations and pro prospects.

He’s a smart player and a talented defender. He might eventually work his way more into their rotation. I wouldn’t count him out.

Very likely could be Mason lol
I have a hard time believing that he doesn't have suitors at the P5 level. Best player in his conference according to Kenpom (granted it is #23 Southern Conference), averaged 19+ pts and draws a lot of fouls (shoots 80% from the line). Lightning fast. Why wouldn't he be in the Mincy category for $$$?

Good point---38% vs 32.5%.

Still, Okojie is 9th nationally in fouls drawn. That turns into a lot of pts.
And a much better Assist rate (28% vs 17%, kenpom) than Kory. Long was at 23% this past season.

Maybe not in Mincy's category, but still his market value would seem to be higher than Mercer or Mason could afford.
Also Mincy keeps rising (presby to Mason to USC) while Okojie already rose to Memphis and it didn’t work out, whether you blame that on the injury or also the fact that he wasn’t good enough compared to the competition.
