For those of us who no longer live in the area, that was a real treat. Thank you for doing that.

Looks like the construction of the new health sciences building is underway and, to quote Trump, it is going to be huuuge.

I still have no idea what the Fenwick expansion looks like. There aren't any new pictures even on the Internet. Very strange. It must look like crap. Which wouldn't surprise me, as the drawings looked like crap.

Actually it is much nicer in person. I caught the backside in my driving video but the construction fences prevented me from going around. Keep in mind that is the first phase. The second phase will be the front that wraps the other side of the legacy towers.

And you are right the New HHS building is huge - they are tearing up a lot of land there. The new road under 123 really connect the two sides of the Fairfax campus and opens up that land to development as well.

I didn't have headphones handy at the office so I just turned it down really low before hitting play. Great music selection. Immediately sounded like I was trying to stealthily watch a porno at my desk to kickstart my week.

Seeing this makes me want to get back over there when I have an off day and just explore. Truly amazing how much things have changed.

One spot that I was able to peak into quick - was the way President's Park, the New Eisenhower Hall and the Taylor building were integrated with nice walkways and trees. It is a large dorm space with lots of open space and trees to chill out along with volleyball and basketball courts. That whole are turned out really nice.

OK my youngest son was playing one of his SYA football games at Robinson - so during his warm up practice I took a drive around campus in my oldest son's car and video taped it with the iPhone. Nothing fancy just some random driving around Patriot Circle. I couldn't walk around center of campus - but it was early AM.
