I saw that Monmouth was beating WVA by 10 in the 2nd half before crumbling, so who knows - maybe Mason can hang. That said, I expect a loss.

I'm guessing a loss would mean a game with Boston College. They don't look like world beaters. UMass beat them and they defeated New Hampshire 58-50. Getting a win in the first two doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. That said, we were fortunate to escape Princeton. A W ain't gonna happen if we continue to have the long stretches of head scratching play.

WVU has four double-digit scorers on their roster. Would love to see our guys pull an upset, but just don't see it happening.

In fact, I don't see us going over .500 at any point this season.

West Virginia has several starters and bench players that are capable and love to shoot three pointers. These double digit loss predictions to West Virginia are something I agree with. At this point I'm assuming Paul Hewitt's defensive strategy is all about clogging the paint but letting opposing teams get open looks at the perimeter because he likes to gamble that the opposing team will miss most of the time.

Otherwise I have no other ideas as to why the perimeter is always open for opposing teams for the past 3 years. If anyone has thier own ideas as to why this team always leave open space for sharpshooters from opposing teams please share.

That is what Princeton tried doing for 20 minutes yesterday and it didn't work. Some of their attempts were wide open.
