Yea me too. I was thinking about this last night when Calipari got ejected...if Hewitt were to get tossed who would coach this team? Not like they could do any worse than Hewitt but no one on our staff is capable of coaching.

GW reminds me of a Larranaga coached team. They play great TEAM basketball. Each player knows their role and they execute it well. None of them try to do too much or too little. They play their brand and do it well. That's the style of basketball I'd like to see return to Fairfax. None of this individual bull****.

This wasn't a post meant to ignite Larranaga talk. More about the idea that Lonergan is a good COACH who knows his players and knows how to put them in the right situations to win basketball games.

There are more coaches out there like Lonergan...now the AD just has to fire Hewitt and go find them.

I officially apply for "time out management"coach. Last time out we are up 11, with possession, and call time out with 19 seconds to go in the first half. WTF? Today, we call time out with 3.8 seconds to go in the first half and don't even get a shot off! Again, WTF? We NEVER have any left at the end of the game because dipsh*t uses them WAY TOO early. Not that we would have won today but damn, seriously?

And anyone who has watched this season knows we could have won 5-6 more games. For whatever reason we haven't so yes..we are what our record says. The only consistent thing is we have horrible coaches top to bottom (they all deserve the blame) and our bigs are by far the softest in the entire country. It's too bad because for the most part Sherrod and BA have played their butts off and deserve to go out better than this. I just wish the rest of the players would show the desire/toughness/heart that BA shows.

Maybe he's getting confused and thinks it's the end of the game and must win it at all costs. That's why we have a winning first half record. Then come the second half and he's tired cause he's already blown his load on the first half.
