Cuz Tony is a moron sorry...gotta say it...anyone with half a brain knows you rest your best player until he gets better..you don't f'in aggravated it so he can't play in the conference tournament.

9 - 9 will be the season ending record with a 1st round exit.
Well, I'll never say that Tony is a moron, far from it, but questioning his starting line-up and substitution patterns is open for discussion and is fair game. I understand and share your frustration but let's back off that comment.

The injury to Kory is huge, he's not the same player.

9-9 on the other hand is looking like a realistic result which would be a huge disappointment.

How was the crowd? Any jeering or booing ? Has Tony lost the crowd?
Game was overly physical IMO and refs had trouble handling it. So I heard crowd attacking refs. Did not hear cheers or boos for the players or Tony. Seemed like the band and some sections were into it but lost gas as the team lost gas. There were Dayton cheers towards end of game.

Here is a picture from part of the student section from the game today. The ones standing in the first row were loud for most of the game
It's sad the Masonettes are in the student section taking up space with the DJ. Shows how bad the student section has become over the past few years if they have to place them there rather than on the floor.

Honestly I feel like maybe he wants to play and Tony is just letting him play so he doesn't transfer out? I really don't get it. It's odd.
The Mincy takes confuse me a little bit. We're still scorned lovers over a guy who shut himself down with an "ankle issue" years ago, but in the case of Cory he's fighting through an injury to try and help the team and we're questioning that too? As I understand it he can't really do more damage but he also won't get better until after the season, so if he and the team thinks he can help why not give it a shot? It sucks to see him struggle but I'm all in on a guy willing to sacrifice for the team and suit up injured.

I think these are two different situations. One guy was holding himself out on a fake injury and because he was saving himself for bigger money (and being a headcase).

Mincy is doing everything he can, but if he truly isn't going to get better and its detrimental to the team, why play him? I personally think that Mincy needs to keep playing (maybe some less minutes depending on how things are going), and last night he had some good looks that just rimmed off. While 2/10 isn't pretty, I didn't see poor shot selection and he was still giving a ton of effort. Effort that was called out by Tony in the press conference.

Guys need to step up, show fight and show care. When Tony mentions the word "care" a lot, and we're all seeing lack of "care" or "fight" those are concerning things. As I said during previous coach eras, its one thing to lose, its another to not show care and fight. When I want to turn games off early (or have friends leave early), that means things have truly gone south.
