GIVING DAY 2023
It is tough seeing all the wheels come off in the last few weeks after such a great start had many of us dreaming of what might happen in the post season. But your memory must be pretty short or your definition of "a long time" is different than most fan's.
Starting off with such promise, only to see it crater....yes.
Will it turn around? Certainly I have hope for it. But to me, a lost season from the get go, while tough to stomach, is less disappointing.

2 part season with DP didn't hurt you?

Just shows how valuable a healthy Mincy is. He gets hurt, his production plummets as a result, and the team goes down with him. Had he stayed healthy, I imagine nobody would have much of anything to complain about with the team's performance.
Maybe, but I'd still be griping about the lack of defense.

I do think it’s important to realize that our OOC was soft and so was the start of our conference play. We are losing to teams who largely are very talented and all fighting for top 4.

The one inexcusable loss to me is still the Richmond game. And as Coach Skinn said we had no reason to lose that game other than being lackadaisical to start it and digging a massive hole we couldn’t climb out of.

I agree about the Richmond loss. It's tough to take too much solace due to the tougher competition though. I'd like to, but Mason is getting demolished recently. As we say in these situations though, please prove that I'm a jerk of a fan that loses faith too quickly.

Granted, but we should also remember that in past years we have lost a number of those early games. This year we won them.
