This was as angry as I've seen fans in the stands in a long time. Several guys sitting over near me were yelling right at BE as the game wound down. BE def. heard all these things, all he could do was pound his pen on the desk and rub his head....he looked embarrassed. Bright side is that we are almost to the end of this shit show.
I saw BE from the other side of the court. I didn't hear anyone yell at him, but I concur that he looked agitated and frustrated. He only took his eyes off the game to talk to someone in a suit. He looked like he was trying to stare down Hewitt during timeouts.

Thanks Paul Hewitt and TOC. You now have me searching out other sporting entertainment options. Not much of an NHL fan...but I do have a hometown AHL team!
B-Sens!

This was the most booing I've heard at our games since the Westhead years. The funny thing about only have a few folks there is that you can hear all the comments being yelled at the court. Best line of the night: "Fordham uses Internet Explorer!"

More Hewittacularly embarrassing:

A. Giving Towson it's first win over Mason ever and after going winless the season before?

B. Losing the third straight to bottom feeder Fordham, their first road win in three years?

B-Sens win 4-3! You made me look TOC and Hewitt! Four short years ago I was too full of GMU Patriot pride to care what the B-Sens did on a nightly basis. 2600 tonight? Sounds like it was a lot less.

B. Losing for the third straight time to bottom feeder Fordham, giving them their first road win in three years?

Not to quibble but from this:
http://articles.baltimoresun.com/20...onathan-arledge-patrick-holloway-george-mason
it sounds like the first part of A is correct, but it didn't break a season long losing streak as Towson was 17-13 after the game and 12-5 in the CAA.

LOL @ hewitt press conference. Looks like a defeated man.

I have no remorse for him. His criticism is well earned. He's had plenty of opportunities to right the ship, and he has not been able to get the job done. I've followed UMD somewhat this season and although I'm no fan, I give credit for Turgeon being conscious enough to realize he was on the hot seat and doing all he can for his team. Mind you he also had to change Conferences (debatable which is better year by year) but I'm sure his budget was cut due to UMD setbacks in athletics. FIRE PAUL HEWITT!!!! Simple as that.

Mason is 32-9 all-time vs. Towson. I believe that Mason's first loss to Towson was on 12/5/72.

This was Mason's 3rd straight loss to Fordham as a member of the A10. Mason is 0-4 all-time vs. Fordham.

One highlight..... Joe Shannon and I were discussing Corey Edwards and his amazing ability to draw the charge, he is an absolute beast at drawing the charge. He drew at least 2 charges tonight. He has got to be in the top 5 at Mason all-time in drawing charges.... don't even know if that is a stat. Pablo?? Can you confirm.

I wish that there were an official stat for drawing charges. I don't recall anyone at Mason who was better at this than Corey.

Not having them prepared? They are athletes, they should be prepared just for the sake of competition. You can't bank on game film to know what an opponent will do. Hardly any adjustments all game, when a team is hitting 3's (sure Marcus Thornton of William and Mary wasn't in Fairfax last night) left and right, you defend against it and yell it during media timeouts!!!

Where my seats were in a good view of Brad Edwards, and at one point, he went to a table behind the scorer's table to talk to someone in a suit, and then came back to a table directly opposite of Mason's bench where he was most of the night. He also made a brief appearance in the gold room last night.
