I read their Mason game thread. All he said was Paul Hewitt was the reason for Mason's demise and it's taken 15 years for Mason to recover to get to this point.

Who's got Ed the Drunk chants ready?
But how many tickets sold to the wrong people? The Ticketmaster site shows very few seats available on the seating map for what it’s worth.
Exactly. But how many tickets sold to the wrong people?
This is essentially what has been explained to me. Our capacity is not 10k.Look at the available seats - there is not a single sear available in each of the four corners. That means those tickets are not available to the public to be purchased.
Not sure if the are going to put tarps back up, but in the past the ticket office has reduced the amount of publicly available tickets in order to prevent vcu fans from taking over the arena.
Only real point Im making is that the limited number of tickets available does not mean all the other tickets have been sold. Last I heard we still don’t expect to reach 7k with students still on break.
Probably need to do better that 1/15 from 3 and 50% from the foul line(our Penn stats). To win this game we need 4 things to go our way. One, play solid Defense, we need to play our best D of the season in both halfs. Two, need to attack the rim on offense, vcu is athletic but prone to foul trouble attack attack attack. Three, win the turnover battle and finally we need to win the crowd. The crowd needs to be pro Mason and the team needs to hear us so lets get your neighbors, family, and friends out to the game. Lets go Mason.....
The right players getting to the basket. Mincy, Long and Troutman...not Kanga and PresleyProbably need to do better that 1/15 from 3 and 50% from the foul line(our Penn stats).
I feel like vcu will inevitably play there, squirrels made it public to force them to pay what is due.Another example of vcu being jerks. They failed to follow through on their good faith promises with the Richmond Flying Squirrels concerning the new ballpark opening this spring (which they were supposed to share, including a separate clubhouse for the vcu players)...even after the Squirrels had made numerous financial concessions.
Finally, the Squirrels said "see ya!" vcu will not be allowed access to the park and the vcu clubhouse will be repurposed.
Good for the Squirrels!!
