I would be shocked if O'Connor plays on Saturday. To me its probably the game to surprise everyone, but I just dont' think he is going to play this year and will take the red-shirt.

He hasn't started even practicing yet (last I heard), which should mean he couldn't possibly play any sooner than a couple weeks from now.

I can't imagine there is any chance he plays this year and wastes a year of eligibility for less than half of a season. He would certainly make our team better if he was playing (duh), but given our depth - it is not a bad year for him to sit out and red shirt.

We don't have any reason to think he wouldn't return next year - not like his stock is any higher than it was last year.

Having the potential of him along with Mincy, Riley, Malik, Stas, Booker and Kanga all returning next year would be a nice change of pace from a roster management standpoint (and there are potential waiver applications for Hill and Long as well).

Yeah if this team had a chance at an at-large then sure, but to have him come back with like ten games left (at least a few of which he will be rusty for) is nuts. I think the team isn’t as good as its record indicates, but they’re good enough to the point where I say dance with the ones who got you here. Don’t throw a wrench into the whole thing.

The fact that it was ever even argued that that toilet bowl of an arena was a "neutral" site was such garbage. So glad to be a part of a real conference and not the CAA cabal running things.

Very good half time adjustment. Going forward starting Sat. I think CTS needs to give Kanga more playing time. Stas has ability but when you go up against vcu etc. the boards are going to make a big difference. He can get those put back points under the basket. Think it is going to be a very close game.
