Caught looking ahead to the A-10 opener vs GWU?Least we didn't end up losing tonight like Richmond to Charleston Southern. Richmond was 13.5 point favorites and lost by 5, 78-72.

Phil Jr. could get vcu there but is 0-3 in Quad 1 games. Everyone else looks to be on the outside looking in without winning the conference tournament thanks to some December stumbles. The A10 went 2-19 in Quad 1 games with Richmond and Rhode Island notching the only Q1 wins (Belmont and Yale - doubtful those teams will still be in Quad 1 by March). The A10 feels weak this year with 5 teams in the bottom half of the NET."

St. Louis is a paper tiger. That NET is based upon beating lousy teams by large margins. They played 0 Quad 1 games and were just 1-1 in Quad 2 games with no P5 wins (they only played one P5 and lost that one). The Selection Committee is going to look at that OOC schedule and move on to the next team.Around the A-10: Dec 2025 / Jan 2026 | The La Salle Basketball Forum
