I find it odd too. It does not make sense, but this is an issue. I guess every college program has obstacles in the way.If Mason owns it, this absolutely makes no sense. Not questioning you, just saying it's crazy and stupid.
I mean you aren't new hereShocker.

I think people are being helpful but I know this. But do you think it’s a good idea to run a conference tournament with games on USA, cnbc, cbssn, and cbs? I don’t mind the extra inventory on espn+ but is USA afternoon games the best look for the league? How can you say your teams deserve to have multiple bids for the big time when you don’t present yourself as being worthy? Afternoon Saturday games sound like the same scheduling as the NITCheck the guide on the tv or:

Funny to think that anyone besides the networks have the power in that situation. Our games are on the networks they’re on at the times they’re on because that’s what the networks are willing to give us.
I’d guess our audience is limited to 1) fans of the schools playing, 2) A10 diehards, 3) college basketball sickos who are filling the void of big conference games.
I don’t think any of these audiences is very large.
Edit: from what I understand about this process, the A10 offers up our schedule and the networks take the games they want in a particular order (pretty sure ESPN goes first).
i believe the first cut goes to pay a portion of the Conference Office - consider it a "membership tax"Is it safe to assume the A10 brings in $12 Million in tv rights deals? If so, that's just under a million per school.
The league is in major tv markets. New York, Philadelphia, DC, St. Louis… if its competition get creative. No one cared about Mac football until they went against the grain.
