Apparently, you can get a discounted package deal until Dec. 31st for the entire A-10 tourney at the Barclays Center in NYC. The price is $170 as opposed to $266. You can get tickets at gomason.com or calling 703-993-3270.

All-Session Ticket Package ($199 - Early Bird, $266 - Regular Price)
Early bird price of $199 (25% savings) includes a commemorative Mason A-10 t-shirt (one per order). This offer expires on Jan. 31, 2014. All orders after that date will be the regularly priced all-session package of $266.

This offer was extended apparently, it originally ended on Dec. 31st and was slightly cheaper then.

Living in the NYC area, I was really excited about going to the A10 tourney. Now, not so much. Won't waste my money on tickets, travel expenses, food/alcohol, etc. to see us go down 48-7 to start our first round game.

Yeah I was kind of excited about a weekend in the city visiting friends but now I'll just wait until May when the weather's nicer.

I'm gonna go but will buy the individual tickets per game. Does not make sense to buy the all-inclusive deal in a down year. Not worth the money on a tournament pass for all games.

I am so bummed about the Hewitt situation right now, I am considering skipping the tournament all together. I was set to buy them on the 30th, but ole Tom , being the Debbie downer that he is, talked me out of it. I guess I should thank him for that since I "sobered" up 3 days later.

If I skip it, it will be the first post season tournament game I have not been at in 11 years.

Well, for me at least, it's partially a matter of not really being able to take a 5 day trip, and so I hadn't planned to go up there until Thursday. That would be awkward if we get bounced Wednesday night.

After going to the ODU game, I have to thank the team for saving me $800+. The only way I'll go to Brooklyn, to watch this team, is in a straight jacket, because I'd be insane to go.

Tom, while what you say is, technically true, You did technically talk me out of buying the all tourney pass. And my description makes for a better post.

Given travel obstacles along with the unlikelihood of us even making it to Friday, you were effectively arguing that we don't go at all, you just didn't know it at the time. You should just take credit for your uncanny foresight ;-)

In the past, I've gotten an all games pass and found it relatively easy to sell at face value the pass after Mason was eliminated--ticket vultures often came to the Mason section as the game was ending asking if you were interested in selling them.

I'd love to go, but I'll wait until the team has a shot to make some noise. Prior to the season, I thought it'd be this year. It may be a long wait.

No resale market to speak of. Attendance at Barclays was generally unimpressive last year, even though I'm pretty sure they blocked off the upper deck of the arena to make it look better.

Could be a little better this year if UMass keeps rolling. You know vcu is gonna bring a ton of fans, but most of the A-10 is small private schools whose attendance generally sucks.
