Instant vibe killer when the cheerleaders would start this up. Was great being able to override them when they tried ones like this.Shoot for 2 2 2 or 3 is a great chant (kidding)
Problem is no one knows when its their turn to point or scream.I'd be satisfied with simply standing up and yelling back "Mason" when the Green Machine yells "George".
Here are some ideas to improve the EBA game experience.
Patriot Lounge and Beer garden
Add TVs/monitors that show first half highlights, live stats, and highlights from the previous game
Have a clock counting down to show how much time is left at pregame/halftime so fans know when to get to their seats
Merch store
Sell Mason Basketball jerseys in Adult and kids sizes
Have an area for fans to personalize their jersey with their own last name
It would be cool if fans can also buy Tony Skinn and Lamar Butler jerseys, also in kids sizes
Family Zone
Have a branded photo wall area (like the ones recruits take photoshoots on when they are on a campus visit) where fans/kids can take pictures for Instagram/social media. Have a replica prop trophy of the 2006 Final Four for fans to hold and other props too

“If I had a date with your mother,Hey everyone! Just got off my meeting with the new director of student engagement- she's amazing and has worked with students and fan sections many times before, so her ideas are great.
I dont want to get fully into details until things are more concrete but, I wanted to know what chants from the past worked best for the students to be doing, and chants you guys think we should incorporate. These chants are going to be printed out on big posters and held up for all students to see when we chant them, we have some ideas but want to hear more you guys have and ones that worked in the best times of the student section.
A couple of chants I suggested that they rejected:View attachment 3173
This was from back in the day, many of them never really got off the ground or were overly corny but the good ones include
Warm up the bus
George! Mason!
Let’s go mason
This is great, appreciate all your efforts on this.Hey everyone! Just got off my meeting with the new director of student engagement- she's amazing and has worked with students and fan sections many times before, so her ideas are great.

This takes homework on the opposing players. Gotta find dirt on them and use it during the games. Even if its on a bench player. The other approach is songs and chants similar to soccer fanatics. Those guys usually come up with chants on the fly. For example, the other day man united fans came up with a song telling the owner to shove his new stadium up his arse!Hey everyone! Homework will be done! We will have a team on it- making sure to get in opposing teams heads. If anyone has their own dirt on players and coaches feel free to post it or send it over to me.This takes homework on the opposing players. Gotta find dirt on them and use it during the games. I really miss youA couple of chants I suggested that they rejected:
One, two, four, three
Kill the goddam referee
I have malice towards my opposition
Their doom is what I’m wishin’

Loved the ManU chant, would love to be able to come with a few on the fly.
Eight seconds left and 3 - 2 - 1 and I'm in!On critical defensive possessions, let's fake out the ball handler. When there are 5-6 seconds left, the crowd yells the shot clock countdown: "4! 3! 2! 1!" so they rush the shot.
My preference has always been to make them thing they have more time - for example, 5 seconds left and chant "8, 7, 6..."On critical defensive possessions, let's fake out the ball handler. When there are 5-6 seconds left, the crowd yells the shot clock countdown: "4! 3! 2! 1!" so they rush the shot.
