Certainly, a more realistic attitude! But some of the joys of being a fan is to let our imaginations create dream scenarios when we're coming off a big win against a long-term rival!NCAA talk is a bit premature for me at this point. I'm just hoping for top 4 in the conference which would help our chances. Some tough games to come. 4 down 14 to go.
It’s been Christmas break for them, not sure if schools back though but I wouldn’t judge their attendance just quite yet.Their fans have stopped showing up. Was a ghost town against Davidson last week.
I am significantly less concerned about laying an egg if a bunch of their dudes are still out and they have to rely on players to give 15 minutes a night who were expected to give at most two. Getting dominated by Davidson at home was the bad sign for them imo, the momentum from the win they had against Rhody and the hot start against Dayton is gone.
Please still play hard though. Please.
Oh I understand. I thought we deserved a spot last year and we all saw what happened. 15-3 first place finish, advance to the title game and got hosed in favor of bottom SEC teams who proceeded to lose in the first round. FULLY expecting the Power 5 to get more in than they deserve again this year. I'm just being cautious and anticipating another hose job because I know what the committee is likely to do. That reality hasn't dampened my love of our team or reduced my celebrating the success so far.Certainly, a more realistic attitude! But some of the joys of being a fan is to let our imaginations create dream scenarios when we're coming off a big win against a long-term rival!
Sweet baby Jesus....Keep these stats coming!![]()
