Good to see Tony back with the program. Was a little disappointing I'm sure for some not to get any new commitment to facilities or the program. Seems like Tony has his work cut out for him.

Now lets be real, the raises will need to be more if Skinn makes the NCAA or NIT (or even does well). Also if he makes the NCAAs, 1 year extension won't cut it.

Actually if he makes the postseason every year then it won't matter because he can coach in perpituity as long as we make the NCAA/NIT. I'm here for it. 1,000 years of Coach Tony!

Definitely wasn't expecting them to say anything formal but would have been nice to at least get a "we're committed to providing Tony and the basketball program the infrastructure and support necessary to compete in March."

I'm pumped for the Tony hire. I think he's going to crush recruiting, reconnect with the fanbase, and adapt well to being the head guy.

I'm just tired of the fluffy recycled quotes from the Admin.

Agreed - but I am sure those commitments were made to get Tony here. This event was to focus on bringing Tony home.

Now - we can do our part when we make donations and have it attached to a letter demanding to see movement on this.

Today was well done on all counts. Very excited for the future. The crowd was small, as I walked out the people at the door said 174 visitors. I expected a crowd of that size on the day after Easter. Small but enthusiastic! Go Mason!

I strongly disagree. Yes, this was Tony's time and 99% of it should be focused on him. Yes, we should be excited about the hire and the potential Tony brings.

However, there won't be another moment this year where you (the admin) KNOW the fan base, alumni, donors, former players etc. are truly leaned in, engaged, and paying attention. You have an opportunity to communicate your commitment, however high level that might be, to instill even more confidence, support, and excitement from the fan base.

I'm disappointed that there was none of that today. I hope we hear more soon.
