Not sure about all the complaints about KE not getting it done. We made it to the A-10 tournament not once but TWICE. Even made the Elite Eight this year.

It was all part of our long play to get even with Providence for stealing Barnes from his "dream job." Barnes assistant goes to Missouri which, unfortunately, meant Larranaga goes to Miami, but it creates the 10 year dumpster fire so we can set the wheels in motion to eventually hire a con artist from Barnes' staff who then will be in position to be hired by PC, thus, our retribution against PC for hiring Barnes away. I expected a fair amount of action during the offseason, but was hoping it would be positive action. and not this. I agree with the sentiment of several others on the boards. Mason's basketball program is not likely to ever be a long-term, final destination for any top notch coach. We might as well call all of our coaches "Interim Head Coach." Depressing day.

This is Dr. Washington's mess to resolve. He should've hired Chris Caputo in the first place, he would've stayed a lifetime here.

If I were a Providence fan I'd be real disappointed that CKE was the best that we could do. I like CKE and wanted him here for longer but dude did nothing here to warrant a major pay raise and jump to the Big East....don't blame CKE for packing his bags though! Bring me Tony or I'm out....
