It wouldn't shock me if he is our next head coach in 2 or 3 years if English bolts. I'm not endorsing that one way or the other, but it wouldn't be a huge stretch given his prior experience as a head coach.

New order when random former NBA players are responding to tweets Mason Bball puts out. Feels like our recruiting stock is on a new trajectory.

Damn... I almost don't want to let myself get used to this. It's stupid to think ahead and be pessimistic about a scenario that's not even close to happening yet... but I can't help but envision when/if English leaves us for a P5 job after a few years and we regress back to what we've been for the past 10 years. After the past month or so, we went from 0 to 60 in less than a second because we now have a coach that not only gets social media, but drives the AD to up its game and actually put out interesting content about the program. Hopefully this become our new norm regardless of what the future holds.

I was going to bring that up too... but I got berated on another thread for mentioning the Gators. So I bit my tongue. Speights was supposed to be the next Joakim Noah, but he ate himself out of that legacy and left after his junior year.

Felton doesn't have the cleanest past....just Google Cleveland State...so temper that plan for now.

As for DP...his style, would not draw kids bedazzled with NBA or big time aspirations. There's a reason Grayer, Green left. Some of those kids came for Simpkins not Paulsen.

KE's first misstep? Might be a huge one. We just can. not. have clouds like this hanging over the program. One thing about Mason bball, it's always been clean. This is concerning.
