Considering that Riley is not the best defender, albeit that he is terrific offensively I would always have either Ellington or Kanga playing alongside Allenspach. I think this is the way to go in the tournament. Now of course CTS will have to manage the minutes involved for all three.

The way Coach Skinn talked in the SLU press conference (I must be a sucker, I think he said talking about trying to get Ellington more minutes) I think Ellington and Allenspach will start barring playing a team that plays small.

The easy solution: give the Class of 2022 one extra year of eligibility. Let schools bring back veteran players even if they’re over the scholarship limit.
Players should still be free to transfer if they want, but good luck finding a school with an open scholarship this late.
