For you youngsters, who might thumbs down this, Google Fats Domino.Last I heard he was seen playing Dominos.
I'm guessing the thumbs-down is more a reaction to a "dad joke" or a groaner of a pun rather than ignorance of who Fats Domino was.For you youngsters, who might thumbs down this, Google Fats Domino.![]()
Could be. Then again.... Anyway, just thought I would cover the bases.I'm guessing the thumbs-down is more a reaction to a "dad joke" or a groaner of a pun rather than ignorance of who Fats Domino was.

Ha! I had to look that one up!There's CIA, then there is Mason.
When I was 13, our baseball team was in last place, locked into playing the 1st place team in 1st round of the playoffs.
Our last game of the regular season was against the first place team, we threw the game and very nearly beat them in the next game/playoffs. I remember pushing one of their runners off the base and tagging him out and getting away with it.
However, we didn’t have a fan base and sponsors and several other things to worry about.
I think the mental advantage for the players and the excitement for the fanbase of beating a ranked team significantly outweighs the slight benefit we would get from resting our players over a period of 2 hours, for games to be played next week.
"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!?"By all means. Play. Play hard. Play well. Play to win. But, players with recent injuries should heal up for the more important game(s) next week. For the rest of the team it's, "I have not yet begun to fight!" on Saturday.

Agreed. Don't play Fatts if keeping him out another game facilitates his recovery and increases his availability for the A10 tournament. We were competitive on the road against vcu without him, so hopefully that will still hold to be true at home vs SLU.By all means. Play. Play hard. Play well. Play to win. I saw that movie when it first came out.
Thanks for the pull - hadn't thought about that movie in years (decades). Gonna watch it with the boys soon with spring baseball approaching
Hope so.I forgot to mention this yesterday: no Mason pregsme injuries reported; Hill was available.
We may see him during the tournament.

Ellington may have replaced him as a starter if Tony wants to go with a bigger lineup.
