I've met several of vcu's players and coaches, and found them all to be fine people. I don't actively root for them to lose.
But their fan base deserves as much suffering as possible. All the arrogance and condescension of a Duke or Kentucky, with none of the titles.
So yeah, I'll admit I enjoyed last night very much.

Their fans are the most obnoxious, classless, and degenerate human beings alive. Words can't even express the hatred I have on their fan base. I wish I could bazooka kick every single one of them in the face every time I see or hear them.
I don't know, but I'd pay to see him use one on a vcu fan.

Wait a second... So vcu loses a game (3-1) and their rank doesn't change at all. They are still #10. Mason goes from 3-0 to 4-0 after their last game and they drop from #65 to #107? wtf...

I suspect that whoever runs the rpi system got their math degree from vcu.

The RPI is an automated non-biased formula, this site did not create the RPI, they are just giving you daily statuses of how the RPI is evolving. There will be large fluctuations in ratings early in the season. Duke went from 22 to 81 overnight. The official RPI is not even released until close to the end of the regular season for that reason.
Oh yeah, I'd definitely pay to see you do that to a vcu fan.

Anyone look at the box score of this game it is kinda crazy.
FSU turned to ball over 25 times
FSU only had 1 more FGA (54) than vcu had missed FGA's (53 {22-75}).
There was not a huge disparity in FT's either.
vcu was just terrible shooting the ball. It will really be interesting to see how this year plays out for them considering they lost their consistent & experienced scoring guards - daniels, burgess and theus.

When your shots are falling you're going to take a lot less shots. FSU was making shots, no need for more. vcu was missing shots.

I just don't see how we went from #65 to #107 after beating a team that is ranked ahead of us at #58 and vcu stays the same at #10 after losing to a worse #36 team.
I see that we got moved to #59 just now so I guess that the only takeaway is that the rpi is a weird system.

Did you check our other three wins? How were the movements of American, Lamar and UNI?
