UAB to the A-10 in 2016?

Didn't we play UAB in some tourney a few years ago?

If 1984 counts, then yes. At the risk of stepping on Pablo's all-knowing toes, Mason's only meeting with UAB was a 61-60 win over the Blazers in the UAB Classic on 12/22/1984

Birmingham, AL is 50 miles farther from Davidson, NC than St. Louis, MO is from Dayton, OH. If the Billikens are on an island, then UAB would really be on an island. I can't see how the geography makes any sense for the A-10, even if the Blazers were otherwise a good fit for the league.

Memphis and Cincy possibly to the Big 12. Very interesting. What would the ramifications be? UMASS to AAC? Two from CUSA move to AAC? JMU finally gets CUSA invite but ODU or UNCC no longer there?
