I was making a comparison to emphasize the importance of being skilled Athletic player vs just an Athlete. Darrell and David were the best examples I could think of to make that point

Is there a specific reason you say that? He exploded last year as a true sophomore with minimal playing time as a freshmen. Played on a crap team, but he is a career 37% 3pt shooter on very high-volume last year. Why not have excited and optimistic expectations? I don't think anyone is expecting every transfer up to be as good as Mincy was.

I don’t say it due to pessimism or any dislike of the young man. Throwing out names of HOF players tends to build unrealistic expectations.

His ability to defend and rebound will translate quickly in the A-10. It shows his desire and hustle. He is a volume shooter who will probably not get the green light as much on a team that’s not 9-21.

I am excited to see how/if his game has evolved by the A-10 tournament.

Well, if I didn't already know what Okojie will bring (he puts the "man" into playing like a maniak) then I'd say Baraka. So, with that said, next on the list for me is Marville. I love a guy who rIps 3-pter after 3-pter after 3-pter (hoping the dream comes true).

Sorry this may seem like a troll job but I promise it’s not. This guy just “committed” to GMU as a basketball manager. He went viral at Loyola MD for his humor and live streams almost always involving the basketball team. He’s got 30k followers and during the basketball season I imagine he got 5m views a month, all younger people. Really good “pickup” for just getting eyes on GMU. With the eyes on GMU comes more fans.
