We once had a game nearly that low scoring, with shot clock and 3 pt line! In the conference championship no less.

35-33 Mason over UNCW for 2001 CAA Championship. Erik Herring hit the game winning 3 ptr with nearly 3:30 minutes left in the game.

The fact the we went from a neophyte pg boc to mincy and Long to a seasoned baraka in two seasons is the positive effect of the portal...if your coach knows what he is doing..Tony does

I’m not saying he needs to start. But we absolutely need a guy off the bench that can give you instant offense from range. Especially if we are banking on all these big men to contribute.

You speak of defense, but besides Kanga, who is known for their D? We certainly don’t have a shutdown wing or guard at this point.
