What do we know about Luke Howard???

6-9 225

He attended Simon Fraser University last year. A public state school in British Columbia Canada. It's good size (36,700 enrollment). They went 7-21 facing D2 level competition.

However, Luke Howard put up good numbers

16.7 PPG 6.7 RPG. 48.4 % fg / 41% from 3 on 94 attempts
63%. FT

Baraka Okojie is back in the portal again. I know a lot of folks are still salty that he left, but I’d take him back in a heartbeat — Baraka, BOC and Jahari would be a very versatile, dynamic A-10 backcourt rotation.

I don't think he liked Tony.

Not salty, just shows the grass isn't always greener. Think it's time to move on though. Would rather bring back Haynes if were going to bring back anyone!

My attitude at this point is...If you come to Mason with more than one year of eligibility and you leave early the hell with you. You'll soon be erased from my memory. If you come with more than one year and stick around, you'll have my respect. Billups, Maddox, etc. The 4 year player? Long gone, and the game suffers as a result. How much longer am I willing to donate and remain passionate is the question. Time will tell. LOL.

Yes! I don't even know what most of these guys look like, much less remember their names.
If you don't care about Mason, I don't care about you. There's more to life than money young'uns. Make sure, if you get it, that you don't spend it all in one place. And make sure you get a degree, because one of these days you're going to need it.

Recruit
I love portal season...better than trading tops baseball cards
Same. Right now, it's a delicate balance... we don't want to lose players we want to keep, but it's also frustrating to recruit players who don't work out and end up sticking around for almost half a decade. Fortunately, our coaching staff has a proven track record of identifying and developing talent in the portal.

Bigger picture, for sustained success as a program, I think the school is on the right track by investing in infrastructure for our student-athletes, making our program more attractive. Couple that with a few more winning seasons, especially making it to the tournament, and we'll be in a great spot, even if CTS leaves. We'll be program-centric, not coach-centric, like vcu ().
