Were you being serious or were you pushing more so for awareness of the hall of fame movement? And if you were being serious? Is there more to his Mason tenure than one year and 20 wins?

To me the guy is a class act. The fact that he didn't just go out of his way to attend Carolyn Marsh's Memorial Service last year but gave eloquent remarks about a woman who was his secretary for one season more than 30 years ago shows the type of person he is. Add in the stories of how he would be the first person to reach out to Dick Vitale every single morning during his cancer treatments is another testament to him just being a good person.

We were not exactly a major up and coming program when he left us. I'd say his decision worked out ok for his career.

He was an assistant here from 1980-1985 under Joe Harrington.
