Wow, so different from when I started in 1988. Orientation basically involved sitting through a few lame team building/self awareness/whatever exercises in SUB II, sorting through a ditto copy of "The Down and Dirty", and catching a fleeting glimpse of a person named President George Johnson.

Yeah you haven't seen his new freshman "buddy". Wow

Well, I guess this didn't translate well into the US news rankings. We slipped back 5 spots.

More universities moving up to the national universities classification.

But yet, JMU is still a regional school. They were jumped by Berry College this year.

Still though, you would kind of hope that those universities would enter below us. Although if I'm reading this right the data they use for some parts of their formula dates back to just after the Final Four so maybe when that starts to hit more in the years to come we'll bump up. Would be nice to see us crack top 100.
