I know the Shockers used to have a football team. It would be cool if the team came back through some Ted Lasso effect (that is the school he won the national title with before moving to AFC Richmond).

25% wouldn’t even get us up to URI levels of giving. Maybe 200% and we can start talking about football.

Edit: OK, I just looked up 2021’s giving numbers (woof) and I’m upping it from 200% to 500% minimum before any football discussion can take place.

Edit to the edit: FYI, basketball expenses for FY 2021 were 4,666,511.

Edit to the edit to the edit: 22 giving numbers should be interesting. If you remember giving day 21, it was really depressing to see the apathy toward the program. If 22 giving day is any indication the numbers should look a lot better.
