Lost to american 1-2 today. Would be nice to have a good soccer program at Mason... ya know with the surging youth soccer in this country an all...plus the nova hotbed for talent....
A lot of really good programs in the area competing for talent -- Georgetown, UMD, UVA, W&M, JMU, UMBC are all teams routinely ranked in the top 25; vcu has a traditionally strong program, even American and Towson are known to have strong teams on occasion. Competition for soccer talent in the region is probably worse than it is for basketball. It's going to be harder now that D.C. United is starting a USL franchise in Loudoun and a lot of their better academy players will probably skip college and turn pro sooner.
That being said, if Andrulis follows up a really crappy season with another really crappy season following a really crappy season, I can't imagine you'd keep him around, right? I mean, the men's team has a conference record of 0-14-2 (W-L-D) the past two years.
