Forget that Julian was twice recruited by Hewitt, I think worse for him is that he has twice agreed to play for Hewitt. He seems like the type that with regular minutes would do ok as a pick and pop midrange shooter and an occasional post-up option. Sort of reminds me of Michael Redd (the one who played for GMU in the 90's, not the Bucks in the NBA). Unfortunately in this isolation, high screen, zero flow offense, his potential strengths are not highlighted at all.
It's remarkable to look back at Saturday and realize that he was not a factor the second half of that game, then suddenly to start OT we don't only put him in, but he spearheaded two god awful possessions that pretty much sealed our fate. What other team would that happen to?
