Either the read this board or the just gave it up. Sadly, no fake swish sounds last game. Will it be back tonight?I thought it was a cool idea. The DJ's timing will get better with practice.

The swish sound seemed to be replaced by a video game style sound fx that wasn't played till a second or two after the basket.Either the read this board or the just gave it up. Sadly, no fake swish sounds last game. Will it be back tonight?
My understanding from an earlier message board item is that the DJ for that game was part of something like "the students are in charge". And that the fake swish sound was a sound effect that he had. But that DJ was a one-time only person (?)--unsure of this.Either the read this board or the just gave it up. Sadly, no fake swish sounds last game. Will it be back tonight?
I hope not!Either the read this board or the just gave it up. Sadly, no fake swish sounds last game. Will it be back tonight?
A friend asked about that at halftime and was told a "lightning strike" caused tech issues on the corner scoreboards only. I find that hard to believe....... I think they're just trying to sell more advertising. If it becomes the norm I will be pissed.Anybody know why the side scoreboards were not working last night? I apologize in advance if it is on another thread.
I heard second-hand that EBA had the phone system go down and (somehow) that affected the corner scoreboards. So I'm not yet assuming it's an advertising money-grab decision. Going to the women's game tonight so I'll see if the problem is fixed.A friend asked about that at halftime and was told a "lightning strike" caused tech issues on the corner scoreboards only. My son is a student at Mason and got an alert this morning that Sub 1 was closed due to a power outage. I haven't heard an update on whether it was caused by lightning or advertising but will keep the group updated if I hear anything.I heard second-hand that EBA had the phone system go down and (somehow) that affected the corner scoreboards. At women's game and corner screens operating normally , giving box scores. Just realized that they no longer post team stats-- shooting percentages, rebounds, etc.I heard second-hand that EBA had the phone system go down and (somehow) that affected the corner scoreboards. You must have talked to Bob Sacamano like I did. He told me something similar. For what it's worth, the light boxes on the side- and end-lines were all dark during the Jaxnville game. I heard that the Iranians hacked it and uploaded ransomware.
Coud care less who the sponsors are.I don't know how I feel about college teams having alcohol or tobacco sponsors.
But if we are going to have such a sponsor, let it be an awesome cheap beer like Hamm's.
Text from my buddy. LaSalle is offering up $5 tickets, $1 hot dogs, $2 Miller Lites, Free entry for kids 14 and under to their game tomorrow.
Simple, easy marketing.
Annnnnd.... Miller Lite is sponsoring La Salle warm up jackets as giveaways to fans... they look good.
I’d kill for a beer sponsored mason shirt. The lasalle team crushed it with this promo. Our promos have left a bit to be desired the last couple of years aside from the Hawaiian shirts.Text from my buddy.
