Are there any incentives to get a lot of students to come to games? Students get in free + a hot dog and soda?

1. Rewards, points & prizes
2. point-per-game system that leaves to free merch, gift cards (chipotle etc), priority tickets
3. Season long prize for attending all games (free ipad, free semester of textbooks, tuition credit raffle)
4. I know we do themed nights sometimes
5. Hype the student section brand (build this up)
6. Better intro experience for players

I'm not trying to be rude, but all of these ideas have been done with little success.

Lol. Andy Ruge has posted a bunch about 06 on Linkedin lately. He was talking about promotions / giveaways, and I brought up Mikey the Chimp. He apparently said that Mikey headlocked a youngster before the game. Needless to say I doubt hes doing halftime shows ever again lol.

I grew up in Mclean back in the 60's and early 70's. When I was six, the owner of the old mclean fix it off old dominion drive used to keep a chimp in a cage. One Saturday in 1970, my dad bought me a slurpee at the 7-11 then took me to fix it shop.

While he was at the counter dealing with the fix it guy, I saw the chimp in the cage, he was eyeing my slurpee. So I gave it to him to take a sip. Well he started slurping the whole thing so I tried to take it back.

I had to grab it hard from him but he almost ate my hand in the process.

The lesson: Never give your slurpee to a chimp.

Sale right now for 50% off tickets, presumably for the remainder of the year? Plus free tickets to one of the OOC games with purchase. Solid deal.
Their math ain't mathin'

50% discount yields tickets costing $37.50
implying a non-discounted purchase price of $75
is that correct for lower center section seats?

GIVING DAY 2023
I am in Las Vegas at the Players Era/NIL Tournament.
Men's Finals were yesterday.
Women's Final were this afternoon.

I sat in the Texas section - which won the Woman's Tournament with a short jumper with .7 seconds left in the game.
The folks i sat with are Texas Women Season Ticket Holders.
They told me that they play in a 12,000-seat arena where the head coach has mandated that the season ticket prices kept low to maximize attendance.
(also, this should increase concession, parking revenue and a higher expected per person marketing rate)

Now I have no idea of what the Texas costs/revenue streams look like, nor what form of pricing per seat looks like, but it is one strategy.

btw Women's payout
Texas - $1M
SC - $500k
UCLA - $300K
Duke - $200k

Men's side
each of the 16 teams got $1M each
Kansas finished in 3rd place and got an announced performance bonus of an additional $300k
so I assume there was a similar bonus structure to the Women's payout

Yeah there’s no way face value should be that high, that’s wild. Did they adjust pricing for single game seats by a lot this year?
