The suspension may be related to his technical foul - https://247sports.com/college/aubur...al-foul-steven-pearl-keyshawn-hall-273961581/
"Auburn's Keyshawn Hall was also assessed a technical foul in the second half while arguing for a call. A couple minutes later, when Hall went to the bench, Pearl did not bring him back into the game."
I suppose some coaches value wins over integrity. Assuming it was worth suspending him in the first place.![]()
Keyshawn Hall practices, set to play for Auburn Wednesday
After previously being out indefinitely after failing to "live up to the standards and expectations of our program," Keyshawn Hall, Auburn's leading scorer, was not listed on the injury report, and is set to play Wednesday night against Mississippi State.www.espn.com
Supposedly they all know whats up over at Auburn but are super short sighted. Dude has been a problem all 5 years in college and never once changed his attitude permanentlyI suppose some coaches value wins over integrity. Assuming it was worth suspending him in the first place.

Actually, it's his son Steven who is the coach, but likely has the same attitude on wins vs integrity as his father. This is Bruce Pearl we are talking about here…

I have zero doubt about this.I expect that his poor attitude will diminish his pro basketball earnings in the future.

I'm guessing that Steven Pearl holds himself and his players to higher standards than his father did. Credit to Steven for benching and then suspending Keyshawn.
I'm sure that Keyshawn is earning a lot of money now, but I expect that his poor attitude will diminish his pro basketball earnings in the future.
True, but still....As much as I dislike Hall - getting a player with a bad attitude to improve his attitude and help the team win is literally the coaches job. We aren't talking about an assault or some other crime - just a bad attitude.
Pearl is paid millions of dollars to win games - this is what he is supposed to do.
So we’re not the only team with attendance issues…Watching Auburn at Miss State tonight.... ESPN showed the Miss State coach going to all of the fraternity houses, 2 or 3 days ago, and speaking in front of their chapter members and asking them to come to the game against Auburn tonight. Borderline begging them to come support their team.
Sad state of affairs if you have to do this at a SEC school to get people excited about a Wed night game against a 14-11 Auburn squad.
The fraternity guys did show up... student section looks packed. Rest of the stadium is half empty.
Head scratcher.... not much to do in Starkville, MS... especially on a Wed night. So we’re not the only team with attendance issues…
