The suspension may be related to his technical foul - https://247sports.com/college/aubur...al-foul-steven-pearl-keyshawn-hall-273961581/

"Auburn's Keyshawn Hall was also assessed a technical foul in the second half while arguing for a call. A couple minutes later, when Hall went to the bench, Pearl did not bring him back into the game."

Couldn’t imagine an indefinite suspension related to whining to the refs—has to be a conflict with the coach afterward. Like an eff you for benching me kind of fight.

I suppose some coaches value wins over integrity. Assuming it was worth suspending him in the first place.

Supposedly they all know whats up over at Auburn but are super short sighted. Dude has been a problem all 5 years in college and never once changed his attitude permanently

From their On3 site: "He got pulled from Vandy bc he was playing terribly and selfishly. He had a bad attitude and blamed others in the next few days. Steven benched him as discipline and gave him a lot of time to think abt his choices as he watched us lose at Arky. Now he has a better attitude (for one practice) and is trending upwards. Please explain why Steven wouldn’t play him Wednesday assuming he has another good practice today and a better attitude?"

As much as I dislike Hall - getting a player with a bad attitude to improve his attitude and help the team win is literally the coaches job. We aren't talking about an assault or some other crime - just a bad attitude.

Pearl is paid millions of dollars to win games - this is what he is supposed to do.

Actually, it's his son Steven who is the coach, but likely has the same attitude on wins vs integrity as his father.

I'm guessing that Steven Pearl holds himself and his players to higher standards than his father did. Credit to Steven for benching and then suspending Keyshawn.

I'm sure that Keyshawn is earning a lot of money now, but I expect that his poor attitude will diminish his pro basketball earnings in the future.

I forgot that happened after last season.

I just remember Bruce Pearl laughing and saying “my man,” last year when they told him KD Johnson led the nation in technical fouls.

Watching Auburn at Miss State tonight.... ESPN showed the Miss State coach going to all of the fraternity houses, 2 or 3 days ago, and speaking in front of their chapter members and asking them to come to the game against Auburn tonight. Borderline begging them to come support their team.

Sad state of affairs when you have one of the best shooters/point scorers on your team (Josh Hubbard), you are at a SEC school where sports is usually life....to get people excited about a Wed night game against Auburn.

The fraternity guys did show up... student section looks packed. Rest of the stadium is half empty.

Sad state of affairs if you have to do this at a SEC school to get people excited about a Wed night game against a 14-11 Auburn squad.

So we’re not the only team with attendance issues…
