Goodbye Jalen Haynes

I thought he looked dramatically slimmed down at the Liberty game. Hoping he's healthy and can have a good season somewhere.

On the flipside, imagine how bitter Cincinnati is having spent well into 7 figures on a kid who never played a minute for the school. Woof.

I sometimes was frustrated at Slime for not keeping his balance. Didn’t want him hurt. He hustled. Last season I kept staring at a guy who would let someone dribble right by without moving. I’d give Haynes another chance and not mind someone had offered him more money to sit out recovering from his injury.

Yeah, when he wasn't falling down he was awesome! Seriously.

Jalen Haynes was one of the best 5s to ever put on a Mason uniform. I don’t think we’ll be able to afford him, but if we somehow could I’d take him back without even thinking about it and without running him through a physical.
Some teams might be hesitant due to coming off an injury.

I'd do a physical, but yeah.

Jalen looked more like Woody than he did Jalen at the Liberty game. In passing I told him “PLEASE come back” and his reply was “maybe, maybe, I’m thinking about it.” Anyone I ask who are in the know brush off the idea :/

Yeah, when he wasn't falling down he was awesome! Seriously.

Jalen is/was top-heavy. He fell a lot, especially early on the season he returned the court. One could see that his legs were entirely underneath him. That's why I'm not surprised that he blew+out his knee—it was I worried about every game he played for Mason. Someone told Jalen to slim down or face a perpetual risk of more injury to his knees.

I:m not sure where he's going to end up, but, wherever it is, Jalen needs to be careful, strengthen those legs, and limit the pork chops and mashed potatoes!
